COVID-19 REOPENING INFORMATION

THANK YOU FOR ALLOWING US TO OFFER AN EXPERIENCE OF A LIFETIME

We recognize right now continues to be a stressful time for traveling. We, like you, are monitoring the news very closely surrounding COVID-19 and want to ensure the utmost safety and well-being of our guests and staff.  In February 2020 San Francisco was the first area in the country to implement a stay-at-home order in an effort to slow down the spread of COVID-19. We are thankful to all who did and continue to do their part to stop the spread of the virus. Fortunately, San Francisco is cautiously opening back up to its normal way of life.

And, it couldn’t have come any sooner…we will be straight up honest with you – we need your business!  We are a family-owned and operated business that experienced a very significant decrease in revenue from 2019 to 2020.

In conjunction with this reopening, we are very excited to once again offer our services and have you enjoy the ultimate tour experience with San Francisco Movie Tours. We have strengthened our already existing thorough sanitation procedures and implemented several new policies and procedures to ensure your experience with us is safe and worry-free.  To this end, we are adopting the following guidelines for your safety, our employee’s safety, and the safety of everyone around us:

TOUR VAN SANITATION

Before and after every ride, we are disinfecting our 14-passenger van. This means that we will clean and sanitize all door handles, emergency assist handles, seatbelts, and any other hard surfaces. We also wipe down all cloth seats with an upholstery cleaner solution.

TOUR GUIDES AND DRIVERS

Drivers and guides also undergo a temperature check each day and clean their hands consistently with the on-bus hand sanitizer.

DURING THE TOUR

We open the windows in the front of the van to allow for proper air circulation.  Don’t worry; we have heat in the passenger area in case you want to feel toasty.

We follow San Francisco Department of Health Guidelines regarding mask wearing in indoor locations. According to this directive, masks continue to be recommended on public transportation and in indoor public transportation facilities.  Therefore, we don’t require mask wearing.  We request that you sanitize your hands before touching anything in the passenger van. Please do not leave trash behind.  If you have to cough or sneeze, do so into a tissue or your elbow.
